Brookswood Events
Brookswood Lodge, formerly the Brooks Pine Building, was restored in 2006 by co-owners Steve Nichols and Scott Bedbury. The idea for the building was simple – keep the work hard-play hard attitude from the former owners alive and make it a corporate offsite retreat to remember. The building sits in the middle of pine in Central Oregon and hosts corporate events for some of the world's biggest companies. My work with Brookswood events included a website redesign, taking over their social media account, and working said events.
Website Redesign
The Brookswood Lodge website redesign called for darker background hues (while keeping some 'white' space), popping imagery (from a new photographer) and punchy copy that spoke to both the building and its surrounding area of Bend, OR.
Social Media - @brookswoodlodge
Brookswood's social media presence is confined solely to Instagram in order to showcase the building's imagery and many versatile uses. Posts are considered if they keep with the newly redesigned theme of the website – darker, yet inviting hues, colorful imagery, punchy copy and action shots.
This post example shows how images are first and foremost how Brookswood Lodge is marketed with events as the heavily featured topic. Most used hashtags point to corporate retreats, the pacific northwest and inspired ideas.
